Lies

Everyday people have ample opportunity to either lie or tell the truth. We continually report our lives to our friends, colleagues and employees and it is vital for us to be honest. Being honest is simple, however, lying is a very dynamic concept because while lying is ethically and morally wrong in all conceivable cases, we continue to tell lies everyday.

My splash page will have different links linking to different examples of lying scenarios and the unsuccessful attempts of justifying the lies. One of my pages will discuss how the concept of cheating is ubiquitous in our moral lives. People cheat in everything ranging from businesses, sports, education, marriage, and politics. Another one of my links will be for stealing. This page will discuss how some people steal because of need but will mainly focus on how people steal for greed. Another page will focus on white lies and why people need to tell small lies. This page will have examples of white lies and discuss how people decide when to tell white lies and how they believe a white lie is justified. Lastly I will focus on different forms of lying and different types of syndromes associated with lying.
