A year ago in high school i spent most of my time using citations with "patchwriting". I usually changed only a few words from the source, and never tried to do a large amount of work. Now in college i find myself doing mostly paraphrasing in my classes where i am required to cite sources. I find that my citations vary depending on my interest in a class and my willingness to do as best as possible. In the future i beilieve that i will edge more toward the summary side of the spectrum, because i will most likely be writing about things that i am interested in and i will have had more practice writing summaries.
