After talking more about our fanfiction in class, I realized my work did not answer a question that the book raised. I focused in on an important question in the book, and kept the same format. The question I focused on was under what circumstance might national security be more important that individual rights. I felt that the books answer to this question adequately covered the side of natural rights, but did not cover fully the other side. I also felt that the characters that supported the natural rights side were portrayed as irrational (Charles, Severe Haircut Lady, Mr. Benson ect). I wanted to portray the other side with a more rational character.
