Dolores Umbridge Comparison

Dolores Umbridge from "Harry Potter" relates to Ms. Anderson in "Little Brother" because they both support the authoritative, oppressive organizations in which they work for. They do not promote or encourage individuality and believe in sticking to the norm. In contrast, Ms. Galvez believed the opposite of Ms. Anderson which one could argue is the reason as to why she got fired. Of course, the school replaced her with Ms. Anderson, someone whose beliefs were aligned with the school's authoritative system and was therefore favored in getting a job at the school over Ms. Galvez.
